Welcome~

This is my story!  People have always asked me what it was like growing up as an Army Brat, always moving from one place to another.  And for as many times as I've been asked that I can never give a short, concise, and true answer.

I realized one day why that was.  I couldn't sum up 26 six years in a couple sentences.  I could say 'Yes I moved thirteen times' or 'Sure I had to make new friends over and over again'.  However that didn't explain what it was like.  To answer that question I had to tell all of my stories.  The story about: the circumstances involving my birth, or where I attended my first day of preschool, or about my year in fourth grade, or what it was like going to three different high schools.  There are so many stories and it's those stories all told together that will explain what life was like was like as an Army Brat.

Hopefully after reading my story you'll have a better understanding of what life is like for the thousands of military brats out there.  It's truly a unique life.

Personal Note: Despite all the moving, life was in many ways normal.  I did the typical things kids did, but I did it in many different places, in different languages and with different friends.
