Cut to mirror image of young boy doing same

Cut back to Jordan drying face

Cut back to mirror image of boy

Cut back to Jordan removing watch

Cut back to boy holding gun

Cut back to Jordan opening medicine cabinet as she closes it a gun shot is heard and blood splatter appears on the mirror

Cut to Jordan in the boys bathroom beginning initial examination on the boy, she finds a note

Cut to Lu interviewing father about his son, Jordan comes in with suicide note, father grabs it and reads it aloud, Jordan tells Lu she believes Stuart was molested, in the note Dave is said to be responsible, father says there is a Dave at the after school centre Stuart attended.

Father has heart attack, dies.

Opening Credits

Act 1: Pan to scene of car accident on the highway, various parts of body are being covered. Woody is inspecting the scene, speaking to various ‘witnesses’ who are more concerned about their own lives than of the dead woman.

Woody comes across a finger.

Cut to Nigel and Bug talking about the various parts of the body and how far away from the initial scene of accident they are.

As Bug and Nigel begin to catalogue the body parts they allude to the nursery rhyme ‘Humpty Dumpty’, Woody gets angry at them.

Cut to Lu and Jordan in autopsy with the bodies of Stuart and his father.

Jordan tells Lu the father died of a heart attack.

Lu asks Jordan if she is going to have a problem working with her. Jordan states that Lu thought she was a killer, and now she knows that Jordan is not, and that the mistake had been made before.

Jordan continues with the autopsy on Stuart, she identifies bruises and scars consistent with molestation.

Lily comes in and says that neither had any next of kin.

Lu tells Jordan she is going to the community centre, Jordan says she is coming also, and that she will ‘behave’.

Kate comes in telling Lily that she needs to remove her things from ‘Kate’s’ office. Jordan tells Kate she should learn the ‘culture’ of the morgue.

Cut to Lily and Garret talking about her hijacked office. Garret tells Lily to use the conference room temporarily, as they enter the conference room it is full of boxes, Ivers is in the middle, he tells Garret he is from the Attorney General’s office investigating alleged improprieties in the Medical Examiners Office.

Cut to Woody and Bug in autopsy. Woody is pestering Bug for ANY information about the dead woman. Nigel says there is Ivy oil under her finger tips, however Ivy grows all over the North West. Woody is about to leave when Bug tells him that multiple cars hit the woman.

Garret is on the phone attempting to get in touch with the Attorney General’s office. Lily tells Garret that Ivers is VERY good at his job. Ivers asks Garret if he can speak to him about Jordan.

Cut to Jordan and Lu talking to Dave at the community centre. They ask Dave about the screening processes for the employees, then tell him that Stuart identified him as the molester, then ask to search his house, Dave refuses, saying that they won’t find anything and as a result his reputation will be ruined. Jordan subsequently gives him a piece of her mind, and tells Dave that she is going to nail him.

Act 2: Jordan and Lu are attempting to get Jeffery to sign a warrant to search Dave’s apartment. Jeffery says he can’t until they bring him solid evidence.

Cut to Lily, Bug, and Nigel spying on the interview between Ivers and Garret, Bug suggests Kate may be behind it, Lily says that she might be ‘just a bitch’. Jordan enters asking Nigel to hack into Dave’s computer. Lily tells her that she is being investigated by the Attorney Generals Office, when Jordan asks for what, they begin to list the various indiscretions Jordan has been involved in. Ivers enters, asking to speak to Bug. Garret tells Jordan to lay low.

Ivers is interviewing Bug about a drowning case and Pollack’s case, Bug asks if Ivers is trying to get him to say that Jordan is a loose cannon.

Cut to Jordan breaking into Dave’s apartment. Jordan searches the apartment and finds a photo album with pictures of numerous boys. Dave arrives home, Jordan escapes with the photo album.

Bug and Nigel in trace, Bug has finally settled on a date with Lily. Nigel has matched a number of cars to the evidence on the dead woman, he also finds camera footage identifying a van involved in the accident.

Cut to Woody interviewing the owners of the various vehicles, all claim they didn’t see her, until one woman says that she wasn’t running on the highway, she was shoved out of a limousine.

Cut to Jordan showing Lu the photo album, Lu asks where she got it, Jordan doesn’t tell her. Dave enters Jordan’s office saying she is harassing him. Lu claims Jordan has been with her all day, Garret gets Dave to leave, and tells Lu that he knows Jordan has not been with her. Jordan tell Garret Dave is a child molester, Garret tells her to nail him by the book.

Cut to Bug and Lily discussing their date, Nigel enters telling him that the woman was dead before she hit the pavement. Kate enters complaining to Lily that the phone is ringing off the hook for her, Kate gives Lily her phone messages, and says that she should get a new doctor because her current one is an idiot for leaving personal messages on voicemail, Lily asks Kate to just tell her what the doctor said, Kate tells Lily she isn’t anaemic, she is pregnant.

Cut to Woody showing the limo driver footage of the limo just after the woman had been tossed out. The driver says he doesn’t know anything; he had the privacy screen up.

Cut to Jordan and Lu at the community centre asking a woman about one of the photos found in Dave’s album, she identifies one of the boys in the picture as Michael.

Cut to Jordan interviewing Michael at the fire station, he claims he doesn’t know the boy in the picture. Jordan tells him about Stuart’s suicide, and Dave’s molestation. Jordan tells Michael there is no shame in admitting he was molested. Lu tells Michael that they don’t need to pursue his case, it is about Stuart, Michael says he doesn’t want to ‘go back there’. Michael tells Jordan about how the memories of what Dave did to him haunts the moments he has with is daughter.

Act 3: Cut to Woody entering autopsy telling Bug and Nigel that the limo was clean, and no one is missing for the hotel, which also is hosting about 5000 conventioneers. Bug tells him they still have not found cause of death, however Nigel has managed to make a mock up of her face.

Cut to Woody interviewing 3 men who have been identified as having drinks with the dead woman. Woody tells them she is dead, they say she had a drink with them and left, Woody asks them her name, they claim they don’t know. They attempt to leave. One of the men then say her name was Pamela Stockton.

Cut to Lily packing her office, Nigel enters Lily tells him she is pregnant, Nigel asks if it is Jeffery’s, Lily says it is and says he can’t say anything. Kate enters, Nigel tells Kate that she needs to start giving people respect and if she continues to bother Lily he will make her life a ‘living hell’.

Cut to Jordan and Lu entering the court room with Michael. Jeffery calls Michael to the stand, Michael sees Dave and leaves.

Cut to Jeffery asking for a sponea for Michael, Dave’s lawyer says there is not evidence, Jordan tells judge Michael told her he was molested by Dave, Jeffery tells the judge Dave is taking boys on a camping trip the next day, and if the judge could help them out, the judge says he needs evidence, and will give him until the end of the day.

Cut to Bug and Nigel in autopsy, Bug thinks the woman died of anaphylactic shock and asks Nigel if there was anything in her blood. Nigel tells Bug that his expectations with Lily shouldn’t be too high. Bug says its ‘just dinner’. Kate enters and tells Nigel that she is here to do a job and she has friends and family, and she is not concerned about him, however he should be concerned about her.

Woody enters giving Nigel and Bug about Pamela, he tells them that he has to put her back together because the husband wants to see her. Ivers enters asking to speak to Nigel, Ivers sees the body and goes pale, Nigel and Ivers leave. Tox report comes back, Bug tells Woody Pamela died from anaphylaxis, a pain medication that is still in pre-testing by the company the three men work for.

Cut to Woody looking at the three men through glass, he pulls one in for interview. Begins interview with the man, he shows the man photos of Pamela’s various body parts. The man tells Woody they were going for food, Pamela got a headache, they gave her some medication, soon after Pamela stopped breathing. The man says they were concerned about their bonus and meeting their quotas, so they opened the door to the limo.

Cut to Bug and Lily, Lily is having a snack, Bug tells her not to ruin her appetite. Jeffery enters, Lily says hello, he doesn’t respond.

Cut to Jeffery entering autopsy, he asks Jordan if she has any evidence he can use. Lu tells Jeffery she has tracked Dave’s jobs, however lawyers will not let them tell Lu why he left. Garret enters telling Jordan she has other cases, Jordan says Jeffery needs her in court, Jeffery and Lu leave. Garret tells Jordan she is on the edge of a cliff; Jordan tells him that she ‘does not care’.

Act 4: Jeffery in court room, Judge says that they have the same evidence as earlier, Jeffery begins to tell the Judge about Michael and the molestation he endured, the judge shuts Jeffery down, Jordan interrupts saying they believe Dave has don’t it before in other cities, however no one will go on record. The judge wants some evidence, Jordan blows up at the judge stating the worst that they could find is evidence that Dave is a paedophile, and then the world will know what Dave is. The judge states he needs evidence, however the hearsay and autopsy report in its entirety is enough for him to enact judicial discretion and issue the search warrant.

Cut to Woody at the morgue, Nigel and Bug tell him that they have put Pamela back together, Woody says ‘all the Kings men’.

Cut to Lu entering Jordan’s office, she says Dave was one step ahead of them, however he was not good with computers, they found pictures on the hard drive, Lu asks Jordan if she wanted to be there for the take down.

Cut to Dave being arrested in front of the kids from the community centre. Jordan tells Lu that they did good.

Cut to Bug and Lily leaving for their date, as the elevator doors close Lily tells him she is pregnant.

Doors re-open Jordan steps out, she begins to talk about the case with Garret, Ivers enters asking to have a word with Jordan, as Ivers begins to talk, Jordan interrupts to tell him why she sometimes ‘colours outside the lines’, Ivers interrupts saying that it is not her he is investigating, it is Garret.
