Teaser: Jordan walking down ally, JD pops out
scares her. He brings her to a dead body in a car. He
wants her to examine the site. Was the lady killed or
did she kill herself. Jordan wants to call the police.
Woody
and Garret arrive at a hotel room; there is a dead child
in a hotel room. A phone number is on the child’s hand.
Woody calls the number.
The
cell phone at Jordan’s crime scene rings, Jordan
answers, and it is Woody.
Act
One: Woody shows up at car. Woody wants to know who JD
is. Why he called the morgue before the police. Woody
tells her that he thinks the woman killed her son before
killing her son.
Jordan wants to know where the boy is. Woody said no
comment. JD answers, he palmed the hotel key.
Woody
driving (with extremely loud music blaring) and someone
cuts him off. Then takes his spot. He gets pissed. He
says it’s his spot.
Lady
walks out of car. Says she doesn’t see his name on
sign. She’s Detective Lu Simmons and he has an
appointment with her at noon. Says she’ll see him at
noon and walks off.
Lily
comes in and says is this Kevin Carter. Says his wife
is on her way over. Lily introduces herself to his wife
and says why don’t we go to his office to talk. She
says she doesn’t want to talk she wants his sperm.
Jordan and Garret enter morgue. She tells him to go get
ready. JD shows up. He explains that the dead lady was
the wife of Eli Graham. Says they’re divorced and
there’s no story. Woody comes in. He wants the autopsy
report. Jordan says first she does the autopsy and then
the report. Woody gets frustrated and says he’ll go
deal with Garret on this case.
Lily
and Bug talking to wife. Explains how they wanted
children. She begs for Lily and Bugs help.
Woody
goes to the resort of Eli Graham. Woody is skeptical of
the place. Eli is a life coach.
Woody
talks to Eli about Sky. Eli says he thought his wife
was cleaned up and that it would be okay for the son to
go with her. The other boy stayed home because he
wasn’t feeling well. Woody says thanks for help I’ll be
in touch. Eli tells him next time to contact his
attorney.
Garret is talking with lady who wants info. He
introduces her to Mrs. Carter. Bug says a lady came in
and he assumed…Mrs. Carter says that was his mistress.
Garret assures the lady they’ll get the sperm back.
Garret is not happy with Bug.
Precinct: Lu calls out to Woody. Woody says sorry for
missing appointment with sarcasm. Lu doesn’t take it.
She says the department has an interest in his emotional
state. She’s reschedule appointment and if he blows it
off again he goes on to desk duty.
Garret talking with Woody. The boy died after his
mother so she couldn’t have killed him. And they walk
into the other autopsy room and Jordan says wife didn’t
kill herself, no gun shot residue on her hands. So much
for open and shut.
Woody
comes into Lu’s office. He sees her badge on her desk.
He tries to stall. Lu says more he stalls longer it‘ll
take. Woody goes on spiel about his family and says
people should be in charge of their actions. Woody is
playing a game. Lu is calling him on it. She gives him
a talking to. He bails on her.
Nigel
and Bug at sperm bank. Nigel is known there. Bug gets
thoroughly embarrassed when the reception thinks he’s
with Nigel. Nigel and Bug play along and they get
specimen.
At
morgue: Mistress comes back. She says the sperm weren’t
there. Bug tells the mistress they know about Carter’s
real wife, he says she doesn’t know how much trouble she
could’ve got him in.
Jordan in morgue doing autopsies on sky and her son.
Woody comes in. Jordan and woody talk about the case
with their backs to each other. Garret wants to know
what’s wrong with them. Nothing. Finds a hair that is
male. Garret tells Jordan she has to sort out the
situation with Woody.
Act
2:
Prescient: Jordan arrives to watch woody interviewing
sky’s sister.
JD is
in precinct looking onto the interview. JD tries to
convince Jordan to work with him. Woody with sister,
she says Eli is a scam artist. Her sister knew too much
and that’s why he wanted her dead. Says he killed boy
because Leroy would have sided with mother. Sister begs
them to get her nephew away from Eli.
Woody
gives JD a look and Jordan says she’s not with me. JD
chases after Sky’s sister. Woody walks off.
Eli’s
Compound: Woody talks to Eli. Says Dawn was never a fan
of him. Woody wants to know where he was between 6 and
8. Eli says he did not kill his ex-wife and son.
Precinct: Woody is on his phone looking for a warrant,
but can’t get one. Lu is there coming out. She says
she’s talked to his coworkers, everyone likes him. She
says he meets minimum requirements she’ll sign it if
that’s what he wants.
Morgue: Lily and Bug talking. Bug is saying that the
woman should have his sperm. Bug says he could give the
real Mrs. Carter some other sperm. Lily tries to talk
him out of it. Bug ignores her pleas.
Jordan’s Apartment: Doorbell ringing. Jordan goes to
answer her door. JD is there. He comes right in. JD
says Dawn gave him something information they should go
over. JD puts his foot in his mouth as he says he
didn’t realize Jordan was so hot. They go over the
notebook JD brought. It’s in French.
Lab:
Nigel is called in and Jordan hands the notebook over to
him. Nigel says it’s in French. She wants him to go
over it. JD over hears Nigel talking about the hair they
found. Jordan tells him they would need Eli’s DNA in
order for it to be considered evidence.
JD
knows how to get the evidence.
Eli’s
Compound: Jordan and JD show up as Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Act
Three:
Eli tells them to stand up and kiss. Jordan: Excuse
me? Eli says it’ll tell him everything he needs to know
about them as couple. Jordan and JD stare at each other
for a while then finally just kiss.
Eli:
says Jordan has some obvious intimacy issues.
Eli’s
son comes in and he’s drenched in sweat. Jordan says
she can look at him she’s a doctor. Eli won’t let her.
They go to seminar. JD gives Jordan key car he swiped.
JD tells her that the wedding bands came from his second
marriage. Eli comes in and they start the seminar.
Morgue: Bug gives Mrs. Carter her husband’s sperm. She
goes to flush it.
Lily
comes up and wants to know whose sperm it was. Bug walks
away. Lily goes to tell Garret. Garret goes to see
Bug. Garret gives him a lecture. Bug answers back.
Garret says it’s not just about the mistress, there’s
also the unborn child he has to consider. Garret gives
Bug the sperm. Says take it I know you’ll do the right
thing.
Woody
comes in. Nigel is there. So Woody tells him how he
thinks Eli murder son and wife. Nigel says could he
have been from Martinique. Because Nigel found a
mention of it in book.
Woody
runs into Lu at morgue. Lu asks if he got the warrant
he needed. Lu types a number into Woody’s phone, her
Uncle is a judge, she tells her to use her name and his
luck might change.
Bug
meets with Kevin Carter’s mistress. He talks to her,
and runs scenarios about having a child by herself. He
convinces her it’s not right for her. And she comes to
the conclusion that she wants Kevin back, not a child.
Garret comes in and asks how it went. Bug says went
ok. Garret asks if he’s okay, and Bug walks out.
Eli’s
Compound: JD wants Jordan to call his cell. Then her
phone starts ringing, it’s actually Nigel. She slips out
of meeting and Nigel explains about how Eli was in
Martinique where he stole off with money and then burned
a church down with 25 people in it. Jordan is busy
going though the rooms and hangs up on Nigel.
Just
as she does, A match comes up from the Martinique police
base, Eli is the same person who committed other crimes.
Act
Four:
Jordan goes into room with sick boy to check up on him,
Michael. Eli walks in. Jordan accuses him of poisoning
is his son. JD comes in and hits him. They help the
boy out. Eli gets up and grabs his gun from his office
and follows the two of them out.
Eli
grabs Jordan just as Woody shows up with warrant. Woody
arrests him.
Morgue: Jordan says the DNA from Eli’s pen was a match.
Woody
comes in. Says they got there just in time. Jordan goes
to make a copy of the DNA report for woody. JD says
she’s a handful. Woody says that’s an understatement.
JD:
mind if I go for it?
Woody: knock you’re self out.
Precinct: Woody goes to see Lu. They talk about their
cases, and then Woody says he thought about making
another appointment. Lu says how about now. He sits and
closes door
Jordan’s Apartment: JD shows up. He came to get the
ring back. He says he felt something (the kiss) Jordan
says if she felt something it was only physical. JD
says Physical is good. JD says he might try it again.
Jordan says she’d defend herself. He says he’ll take
her chances and kisses her again.
