Play by Play Synopsis:

Teaser: Jordan, Woody, Delinda, and Danny are all at a boxing match.  One of the boxers, Colin, is Danny's friend.  Danny asks Woody how he thinks Colin is doing, and Woody just comments that usually when he sees guys go at it like that he has to arrest them.  He then jokes with Delinda on how Danny flies her across the country to watch a bloody boxing match.  Delinda does not mind...and they start kissing.  Jordan and Woody just look at each other.  Delinda is commenting on the hotel they are staying at and how she is so excited to get there.  Then she asks Jordan and Woody if they ever go there.  They both shake their heads, and Danny comments that they are "just friends."  The fight is in full force and Colin ends up winning, beating the champion.

The next morning Jordan and Woody are arriving at a scene.  Woody complains about getting a 6:00am call after a night out. Jordan tells him he should know better than to try and out drink a guy who works at a casino.  Woody comments on how he does not like it when Jordan flirts with Danny.  They both arrive at a dumpster where the body is located.  Jordan climbs in, commenting on how some days she really hates her job.  She examines the body and they find that it is Colin.  It looks like he was beaten to death, but then again he was just in the ring the night before.

Act One: Jordan and Woody are in autopsy are in autopsy.  Nigel is going through the clothes.  Danny arrives and Jordan and Woody tell him how sorry they are.  Jordan confirms that Colin was beaten to death, and it looks like the time of death was a few hours after the match.  Nigel finds some sweat on Colin's shirt and goes to run it for DNA.  Danny wants in on the investigation, but Woody reminds him that he is not a cop.  Colin's wife shows up and Danny consoles her.

Bug and Garret are in trace going over bones that were found in a car that was in the river.  He is trying to figure out if it was an accident or murder.  Lily is back from vacation and comes in to greet the two of them.  She is obviously very pregnant and says she just ballooned up in the last week.  They are both so happy to see her.  Bug comments on how she is glowing.  He takes her hand and tells Lily she looks great.  Garret gets a nervous look and Bug and Lily wonder why.  Garret tells them he is just concerned because Ivers is still poking around and he doesn't want him thinking there is an inner-office relationship going on.  Bug laughs because it is not his baby, and they are not even dating.

Woody and Danny are at the gym where Colin trained talking to his trainer, Mickey.  They question him about what happened after the match last night.  It turns out he was suppose to meet up with a bunch of people for dinner, but he never showed.  Danny asks Mickey some questions, which irritates Woody because he warned him that he was not a cop.  Woody tries to stop Danny from asking the question, but ends up just asking the same questions anyway because it was what he was going to say.  Mickey takes a drink of a concoction of some kind which really smells, and Woody asks what it is.  Turns out it is a mix of trout.  Danny stays on task and asks Mickey who he thinks would want Colin dead.  Mickey points out the obvious that it was the fighter that lost the night before, Tommy O'Riley.  Apparently he threatened Colin right before the fight.

Bug is going through the personal effects of the woman in the car.  She had the soundtrack from Flashdance in her cassette player, so he jokingly estimates that she may have died sometime in the 80's.  They were running her name that was on her drivers license and it turns out she does not exist.  There was a Polaroid in the car and after running it through some chemicals Bug is able to get the print to show.  It is the woman with two kids, a boy and a girl.  Lily really stresses that they need to find the kids.  Jeffrey enters the room and apologizes for not calling Lily back.  Lily comes out from the table she is standing behind and Jeffrey notices that she is pregnant.  He asks if it is his and Lily confirms that it is.  Bug can not believe she had not told him yet, and leaves the room.  Jeffrey is angry with Lily and tells her that she should have found him to tell him the truth.

Woody and Danny are back at the gym trying to figure out their next move.  Woody has Danny checking with the casino to see if there is any dirt on Colin.  Danny thinks it is just so he is not in Woody's way, but he goes along with it.  Woody gets a call from Jordan and she fills him in that they found some sweat on the shirt.  He has her meet him at Tommy O'Riley's house.

At Tommy O'Rileys Woody and Jordan are hoping to find DNA to compare against the sample from the shirt.  When they are at the door they hear something inside.  Woody bangs on the door and is about ready to break it down when Jordan stops him.  She grabs a key hidden in the light and opens the door.  Inside they find Tommy O'Riley and Colin's wife in the living room.  He was without his shirt, and she went running half dressed into the bedroom.

Act Two: Jordan is pounding on the door trying to get Sandy to come out of the bedroom.  Woody is talking to Tommy, telling him how bad this looks for him.  The fact that he threatened Colin before the fight, and also the fact that he was sleeping with his wife.  Sandy finally came out and admitted she just wanted someone to hold her.  Jordan convinces Tommy to do a DNA test so he can be cleared.

In the break room Bug is yelling at Lily because he can not believe she had not told Jeffery.  Garret comes in and interrupts briefly, but Bug and Lily continue the argument in the hall.  Bug can not believe Lily did not go to his office and tell him about the baby.  They move the argument into the conference room and the doors of the elevator open and Delinda is there.  She is looking for Danny, but in the process opens the conference room and finds Bug and Lily arguing.  She continues on up the hall way and stops to look at the bugs in the glass.  Nigel notices her and goes to chat.  He has an ion spectrometer with him and apparently Delinda has done some reading on the subject and is interested in learning more.  Naturally Nigel is happy to please.

Bug is back to work on his case and Garret comes in to check on him.  He reminds Bug about Ivers and how he wants thinks to be kept quiet about possible inner work relationships.  Bug vents a little to Garret, but then the screen to the computer shows the real identity of the woman.  Garret suggests he fill Lily in on the news so she can notify the family.  Bug tries to tell Garret he can handle it himself, but Garret informs him that he and Lily are going to work together on this case.

Jordan and Woody are back at the morgue discussing the case as they walk through the hallway.  They head in to the computer room where Nigel and Delinda are doing a little research.  They are a little shocked to see Delinda working with Nigel.  Woody is concerned Nigel is letting her handle evidence, but Nigel assures him that she is a genius and is just helping out.  It is obvious Nigel has a crush on Delinda.  Nigel then shows all of them a program that can determine which punches came from the fight the night before by watching the video, and then they can determine which punches came from the killer.  Delinda asks for a snack.  Woody then questions Nigel why there was so many blows to the head. Nigel suggests it may be a epidural hematoma.  In the autopsy room Jordan examines the brain and finds nothing suggesting that to be the cause of death.  Delinda again asks for a snack and Woody can not believe she can think about food when there is a brain sitting on the table in front of her.  Nigel then comes in and informs them that Tommy's DNA does not match, and Colin's tox screen showed that he had been drugged.  He then shows them the stomach contents and it is the same as the fish drink Mickey was drinking.

In the conference room Lily and Bug are visiting with the son of the woman they have been working on.  He does not seem to really care about what happened to her.  He does not want anything to do with her because he believes his mother walked out on him when he was a little kid.  He walks out and tells them that they can do whatever they want with the body.

Jordan, Danny, and Woody are back at the gym looking for Mickey.  Woody hackles Danny again about how he is the one who is the cop and Danny needs to let him ask the questions.  They argue a little and Jordan leaves them to go look for Mickey.  Danny suggests that him and Woody put on the gloves and fight.  The start fighting, but in the mean time Jordan comes over wondering what they are doing.  She notices a bloody towel next to the ring and pulls out the block and looks under the ring.  Mickey is there and he is dead.

Act Three: Jordan and Danny bring Mickey to the morgue.  Nigel and Delinda are there, Danny is happy to see Delinda.  They decide that they are going to go back to the hotel.  Jordan tells them they have done all they can and that she will keep them posted.  Nigel comments to Jordan that Delinda was the most perfect woman he had ever met.

Lily is in her office going over the case of the woman.  She keeps picturing her with her kids and this is having an affect on her making a personal effort to find out why she left.  She is looking trough fake ID's and following a hunch.  Bug comes in and tries to figure out what she is doing.  He tells her that not everything can have a happy ending.  Lily gets a little upset and decides it is time to talk about what is really going on because she is sick of not talking.  She knows she messed up in not telling Jeffery, but with Bug she is a little upset because he, and she says it, walks on egg shells.  She walked out on her wedding for him and he has not done anything about it.  She says she made it clear what she wanted, and then she got pregnant and it was great he gave her time and space to figure out what she wants to do with her situation.  But she wants to know what HE wants now because he has not ever told her.  She turns back to the computer to keep searching and Bug leaves the room.  Garret was outside the room and he heard the entire conversation.

Jordan is going over Mickey's body trying to find a connection to Colin's killer.  Nigel then brings up Delinda and asks Jordan if she thinks Danny and Delinda have the real thing.  Jordan tells him flat out that she does not think it is going to happen with her.  He brings up her relationship with Danny, but Jordan pointed out that they had matured and moved on.  Nigel thinks that is possible with Delinda and Danny...that Delinda will eventually move on, to him.  Woody comes in just as Jordan is comparing DNA.  It turns out it was Mickey's DNA that was on the sweat from Colin's murder.    Now they need to find who killed Mickey and why so they can put this entire case together.

Act Four: Big is looking over his case again.  Garret comes in and wonders what he is doing because the case is supposed to be closed.  He then guesses that Lily probably has something to do with it.  Bug is a little irritated because he thinks Lily is just emotional because of her pregnancy and she can't imagine a mother abandoning her child.  Bug agrees with her.  Garret then tells Bug to forget about being discrete with his relationship with Lily.  He just wants him to do what is best for him and Lily, no matter what Ivers might think.

Woody, Nigel, and Jordan are in the crypt with Mickey and Colin trying to figure out what happened.  They know the two murders are connected.

Lily is in the conference room with all the paperwork and research and Bug comes in.  He has figured out when the woman's car went in the river because her tires were new.  They call in and try to explain it to Brian, the woman's son.  At first he does not want to hear it, but after Bug and Lily show him the paperwork for the new tires.  It shows the odometer of the car, and it proves that she had only driven a couple miles before the car went off the road and into the river.  They compared the handwriting from the letter his mother supposedly wrote and it did not match.  His father faked the letter and made Brian think his mother left him.

Nigel, Jordan, and Woody are rewatching the tape of the fight.  Jordan thinks of something and looks at a cross section of Colin's brain.  She find sign of brain damage.  Jordan then puts the pieces together and everything points to Colin's wife, Sandy.  Danny then calls Woody and informs him he is still working the case.  It confirms that Sandy is their new prime suspect.

Act Five: Sandy is in interrogation with Woody, Jordan, and Danny.  She is acting innocent at first.  After showing her the evidence about Colin's brain damage, and after showing the rest of the evidence Sandy finally confesses.  She then said it was Mickey's idea.  But in the end it was hers.

Back at the morgue we see Brian leaving with his mother's body in a box.  Lily is watching him and Bug comes in to check and make sure she is ok.  He then tells her that it is not really important what he wants...what is important is the baby.  Lily is a little shocked.  Bug says he does not want to be a part of it at the moment because he feels like a fourth wheel, and he walks out.  Lily again is shocked, and has a look of sadness.  Jeffrey then comes in to talk to Lily and they talk.  A lot of questions are left unanswered.

Jordan and Woody are heading out of the morgue and Woody asks Jordan who she though would win the fight, him or Danny.  Jordan goofingly says that Woody would win because he is so big and strong.  He laughs, and then asks Jordan if she thinks Danny and Delinda will last.  She tells him that Nigel thinks their relationship will implode because that is how these "on again, off again" relationships work.  Woody then comments about how workplace romances are a bad idea, and Jordan agrees....hesitantly.  The elevator doors close with the both of them looking at each other a little uncomfortably, like they may be thinking there is a possibility it might not be such a bad idea.
