Quotes:

Woody: What am I chop liver?

Jordan: Three gun shot wounds above sea level.  I need to collect the water before I can figure out what actually happened down below.

Woody: I guess you haven't told Pollack yet what happened between us.
Jordan: I didn't need to.  He figured it out.
Woody: Oh. And?
Jordan: And every time I bring it up he changes the subject.  It's only been a couple days.  Maybe he just needs some space.
Woody: You should talk to him Jordan.

J.D.: Well, well.  Isn't this romantic.
Woody: Come on Pollack.  You know the drill.  Reporters on the other side of the tape.
J.D.: What do you think Cavanaugh.  A crime of passion?
Jordan: Too soon to tell.
J.D.: Some poor bloke finds his wife, or girlfriend is cheating on him, decides to even the score, give the cheating bastard what he deserves.
Jordan: You know Pollack this really isn't the time.
Woody: No, no.  It's alright Jordan.  If you've got something you wanna say...omph (J.D. punches Woody)
J.D.: Stay away from my girlfriend.
Jordan: (shoves J.D.) What the Hell?  You don't own me.

Garret: I should have dragged his sorry ass out of bed, beat him up then paid him a hundred bucks to stay away from her.
Lily: Bribery and assault.  That'd win you parent of the year.

Bug: I feel like a pool boy.
Jordan: Without the fringe benefits.

Woody: How's it going?
Bug: How's it look?
Jordan: How are you?
Woody: Fine.

Jordan: Woody, I, um, sorry about Pollack.  I'm the one he should be mad at not you.
Woody: If some guy just slept with the girl I wanted to marry I probably would have done a lot worst.
Jordan: Marriage, who said anything about marriage?
Woody: I just assumed that he asked you.
Jordan: To marry him?  Why would you assume that?
Woody: He bought you a ring Jordan.
Jordan: Wh...How?  How do you know that?
Woody: Nigel told me.
Jordan: How does Nigel know?
Woody: You know this is probably something you have to work out with Pollack.  I've got to talk to Black's CEO.

(Jordan watching interview)
Captain: Have you ever been in love detective?
Woody: Sure.  Why?
Captain: It's worth the risk.

Captain: Detective.  My relationship with Sergeant Black...
Woody: If it had nothing to do with this case...your secrets safe with me.

Woody: Oh great.  Here comes Mike Tyson.
Jordan: (pause, sigh) I can't...I just can't (walks off).

J.D.: Watches Jordan walk away) I take that personally.
Woody: Yeah.  You here to apologize?
J.D.: Not a chance.

Garret: You want to drop out Abby, fine.  You need money, get a job.

(pounding on Jordan's door)
Jordan: Pollack, use your key.
Woody: Wrong guy.

Jordan: The source.  I need a name.
J.D.: And I need a new car. Doesn't mean I'll get one.

Jordan: Woody could offer them protection.
J.D.: Oh could he now.  So that's why you're here.  To do his bidding.
Jordan: Aww come on J.D.  We're both after the same thing here.
J.D.: Are we?
Jordan: Yeah, the truth.
J.D.: Well not everybody can handle it.

Garret: So what are you suggesting?  We ask Mr. Fulton for a DNA sample to prove the man he's called father his whole life is not his father.  Not only not his father but is in fact the man who stole him from his real family.
Nigel: It does sound a bit harsh.

Woody: Which brings us back to your pain in the ass Aussie.  Pollack's source is our best bet.  Speaking of which his hearing is about to start.
Jordan: You subpoenaed him?

Jordan: Okay and this has nothing to do with the fact that he punched you.
Woody: I plead the fifth.
Jordan: Be nice.  Okay.
Woody: Aren't I always?
Jordan: That's rhetorical right?

Bug: They're confiscating Sergeant Black's remains.
Jordan: Over my dead body.

J.D.: Hey! Back off.  She's with me.
Jordan: Am I?  That's news to me.
J.D.: Why are you here Cavanaugh.
Jordan: I'm worried about you.
J.D.: Thanks but I don't need your sympathy.

Jordan: I know you're trying to be ethical here, but there's more than one life at stake.
J.D.: Well I guess you need to have ethics to understand them.
Jordan: You've got something to say, just say it.
J.D.: Yeah.  You really want to do this here?
Jordan: Yeah at least you've got a captive audience.
J.D.: Fine.  I'm bloody pissed at you for screwing this up.  We had something good going.  I thought we were happy.  At least I was.  And then you had to go sabotage it by jumping into bed with farm boy.
Jordan: I don't know why it happened, but it did.  It wasn't meant to hurt you.
J.D.: Everything happens for a reason Cavanaugh, everything.  And you know why I think this did?  So I could see the real you before I did something really stupid.

Woody: Hey.  You visit Pollack?
Jordan: Yeah.  Wish I hadn't.

Woody: Aw...hey Jordan I wouldn't...(she opens ring box)...open that.
Jordan: Well.  You think you know someone and then you find out they're on a completely different page.  How's that happen?
Woody: You're a complicated girl Jordan.  Not everybody gets you.

Bug: Lily.  It's okay.
Lily: Not it's not.  You have feeling for me.

Bug:...I am over it.

Bug: It's weird.  I...the second I told you how I felt, it's like those feeling just disappeared.
Lily: So you're not in love with me anymore?
Bug: You know I've always had this fantasy that we'd get together.  It's like this broken record inside my head playing over and over.  And when I finally heard my self say it out loud...it's like I finally jumped over the skip.  It feels great.  I feel like I'm finally facing a whole knew world of possibilities.

Abby: You really think you should be throwing stones Mr. Two Face DUI guy...

Garret: Are you doing drugs with this guy?
Abby: What if I am?
Garret: Wrong answer.

Jordan: You were right about what you said at the jail.  I sabotaged this.  I guess I have to figure out what I want.
JD: I think you already know.
Jordan: And what’s really pathetic is I actually tried this time.  I really tried.  I’m sorry.

JD: It’s not the first time I’ve had my heart broken.  Probably won’t be the last. (wipes tear from her cheek)  See you around Cavanaugh.
