Quotes:

Woody: What was it this time?
Jordan: I tend to glaze over when mechanics talk about my car.  All I heard this time was manifold and 300 dollars.

Woody: Feeling adventurous?
Jordan: Let's role.

Lu: I think he might feel more comfortable talking to a man.
Woody: Me?  I don't know what to tell him.
Lu: Words don't matter, you just try to connect.

Woody: Hey.  There is no greater hero than an officer slain in the line of duty.  Don't you ever forget that.  I know what you're going through.  And it's going to take a lot of time but it'll get better.

Pollack: I'm starting to get attached to you Cavanaugh.  I tried calling last night, but...
Jordan: Oh I'm sorry I turned my phone off so I could get some sleep.

Pollack: Next time you need a lift give me a call.  I rather you weren't out there riding around with cowboy cops.

Lu: Uh...that was fast.
Woody: He did it.
Lu: What? You're sure.
Woody: All we need now is proof.
Lu: What did he say?
Woody: It's what he didn't say.  He sat down.  He talked.  He cried. And then he left.  But he never asked how.  You tell somebody their wife died it's human nature to ask how.  Unless of course you already know.

Rene: The last thing we need is to get prematurely excited, pardon my French.

Jordan: This doesn't make sense.  This thing wasn't here yesterday.
Woody: Well it's here now.

Jordan: You must know him pretty well by now. Huh?
Lu: We don't actually know each other.
Jordan: I don't mean that...well I mean you are his shrink right?
Lu: Ex-shrink.
Jordan: Oh.  I guess you could call me his...ex-something.  I guess I should say ex-almost something.  He's a good guy Woody.  Good heart.  But over these last few months I've seen him get so invested in a case that he...maybe we shouldn't be having this conversation.
Lu: We do a thing in psychology when a patient's uncomfortable discussing something it can be easier to talk in theoreticals.  So...let's just say you know a guy name Mike.
Jordan: I think Mike planted that cell phone.

Rene: You want to tell me what the Hell just happened here?
Woody: Maybe later.

Bug: Was your husband Jewish?
Natalie: Why do you ask?
Bug: Because it's Jewish tradition to buried loved one within the first 24 hours.
Natalie: Yes!  He...was Jewish.  A Rabi in fact.
Garret: John Henry Smith?

Natalie: We met three years ago at a support group for alien abductees.

Bug: Umm...is there anyone we should call or any medication we should know about?

Pollack: You alright?
Jordan: Yeah.  It's just that a really good friend of mine is in trouble right now.
Pollack: Woody Hoyt.  Yeah there's a rumor going around.  Something about planted evidence.
Jordan: Guess that'd make a good story.
Pollack: And you don't want me to write it do you.
Jordan: You know what...you've got to do what you've gotta do.  I don't really want to argue with you anymore about what's personal and professional.
Pollack: I can't back off because of someone you still...have feeling for.
Jordan: Are you fishing Pollack.  No what are you jealous?
Pollack: Love is like malaria.  Once it's under your skin it's never really gone.  It just goes dormant.  Sometimes for years.  Then when you least expect it it's back.

Woody: Show some respect.  I know what you're going through.  I do.  But that's not a...
Jesse: What do you keep saying that.  How the hell do you know what I'm going through?
Woody: Cause my Dad was blown away too.

Woody: And I'm going to tell you what I learned. You don't fall down.  You stand up. You act like a man.  And you always honor your father's memory.

Rene: Nothing gives me more satisfaction than putting away a bad cop.

Nigel: It seems a cultural phenomenon was planted inside this mans head.

Pollack: You're not very popular around here are you mate?  Something about setting a cop killer free?
Woody: Too bad about your arm Pollack.  Hope it doesn't get gangrene and fall off.

Lu: Hey Woody!  Please let his gun shot wound heal before you break his jaw.

Bug: Looks like sand, smells like sand, and voila.  It's silica.

Woody: You know what I mean.  I got myself in a real jamb here.
Jordan: I just wish you hadn't done it Woody.
Woody: (pause) Yeah.  (phone rings) This is Hoyt.  Oh no come on.  I'm on my way.  Jesse Spalding.  The cops son.  Looks like he made another stupid mistake.
Jordan: Another mistake.  What was his first mistake?
Woody: I've gotta go.
Jordan: You're protecting him.  You can't do this.  You can't throw your life away.
Woody: You want to help me Jordan.  Help me nail this guy.

Jordan: Hey.  Um...you know that thing I was telling you about my friend Mike.  It isn't true.  He was covering for someone else.
Lu: Jesse Spalding.
Jordan: So what I'm thinking is, if between us we can build a case against "guys name**",  strong case with no ties to the tainted cell phone the DA might drop her investigation of Woody.
Lu: What do you got.
Jordan: Not much.

Bug: This has nothing to do about a mans dying wish.  This is all about you.  The normal life just isn't good enough for you is it.  Vampires, ghosts, wacko conspiracy theories.  See I'm find with the answers I have, but you...
Nigel: Well maybe I'm just deeper than you.
Bug: Oh right sure.

Bug: Nigel I can not let you do this.
Nigel: Already done.
Bug: Then I'm telling Dr. Macy.
Nigel: This isn't high school Bug.

Nigel: What if they don't come?
Natalie: Maybe they'll come next month.
Nigel: Or maybe Yuri was wrong.  Maybe the aliens intend for his body to stay here with you.
Natalie: Would you mind staying with me for a little while.  Just in case?

Rene: You caught me in a generous mood.  (walks away, then turns around) Don't say I never did you any favors.

Jordan: Woody...uh...what you did for Jesse Spalding...putting your life on the line like that.  It was a real good thing.  It made me proud to know you.
Woody: I appreciate that.  Thank you for your help. You  didn't have to do that.
Jordan: (walks away then turns around) See you around Woody?
Woody: See you around.

Lu: Hey.  Long day.
Woody: Long week.  Your husband doesn't mind you working so late all the time?
Lu: My what? (looks at hand) Oh this...it's just a decoration.
Woody: Oh so you can keep the boys away.
Lu: I tried a fly swatter, but it just encouraged them.
Woody: Listen...um...I know it wasn't an accident--you asking me to help with Jesse.
Lu: It wasn't.
Woody: No, I get it.  I was him and he was me.  I wasn't born yesterday.
Lu: You're going to be okay Woody.
Woody: Yeah.  I think I am.  Come on. Let me walk you out.
Lu: Okay.

(**note on the 'guys name' Jordan says a name, but it isn't Robert...hence I was confused what to put there.)
