Description:

In a race against the clock, Jordan, Garret and Woody attempt to track down evidence to a string of brutal murders which occurred over two decades ago in order to keep the alleged killer behind bars. With time running out and no substantial DNA evidence, Jordan must decide how much she is willing to risk for this case when she testifies for the prosecution. A hit-and-run accident sends Lily's mother to intensive care as she fights for her life.

This doctrine was enunciated early in the 20th Century by Edmund Locard, the director of the first crime laboratory, in Lyon, France. [Scene: ME's Office. Lobby. Jordan and Lily walk out of the elevator.]
Jordan: And there's Nigel making these balloon animals out of somebody's small intestine. (Garret walks past them.)
Garret: What?
Jordan: Dream.
Lily: Nightmare.

Lily: Are they getting back together?
Jordan: At 9am on a Tuesday?
Lily: He’s wearing a tie she gave him.
Jordan: Maybe he just likes it. Lily. You aren’t still…smitten with Garret are you?
Lily: No, but Rene Walcott is.
Jordan: Ah…I wish her good luck. I mean having another man’s child while seeing Garret…who is a little old fashion.
Lily: Still he’s wearing that tie.

Jordan: I want this guy. I want his head on a tray.

Lily’s mother: Gruff. Mysterious. Just like your father.
Lily: Which one?

Parker: You’re both dark haired. All the victims were dark haired
Walcott: Is that a threat?
Parker: If I had killed those women…
Jordan: Is there more?
Parker: It would have been because they had evil in their eyes. Like you.

Matt: How are you doing?
Lily: I don’t know. Car slams into your mother right after you call her a slut, how would you feel?

Matt: This woman waited for your mother to come out then... smack.
Lily: You have the sensitivity of a lizard.

Woody: (hand up) Excuse me, but my witness is not nothing.

Woody: (to Jordan) I saw the way that bleep was looking at you. Until that guy goes down I'm gonna be on you like feathers on tar, wherever you go.

Woody: (to Jordan and Walcott) You two are so much alike it’s scary… (look of disbelief from Jordan and Walcott) Anyone gets between you and what you want…I’m just saying…

Woody: Jordan. You are coming with me.
Jordan: No… I’m probably safer here.
Woody: You are not arguing. Come on.

Walcott: A high heel in the shin is apparently somewhat disabling.
