Description:

When a man comes to the morgue asking for Jordan's professional opinion on his father's 40-year-old murder, Jordan finds herself visiting the deep south and digging for clues on a civil rights murder case in a town that wants this case to remain buried. Meanwhile, Woody and Sydney argue over the cause of death of a woman is found dead in her kitchen.

Nigel: Well, I for one feel relieved; I was picturing barefoot yahoos with banjos.

Jordan: You’re a doctor. You know that sometimes you have to open an old wound in order to cure the infection.
Dr. Anderson: Only if you’re sure the wound is infected.
Jordan: A cold blooded killer walking free for 40 years….its not just infected it’s oozing.

Garret: Doesn’t have to be close family, could be third cousin twice removed…could be your mother’s sister’s daughter’s aunt.
Lily: That would be your mother.
Garret: You know what I mean.

(Nigel and Garret on the phone)
Garret: Don’t try and downplay this. I told Jordan this would happen. Just pack up and get out of there. Both of you now.
Nigel: I’m not even going to try and sell that to her. I’ve got to go Dr. Macy.

(Garret is going to yell at Sydney)
Lily (to Garret): Wait until you calm down. If you do it now you’ll kill him.

Jordan (to Bill): Nigel went to the beauty parlor with your Mom. I would pay to see that.

Nigel: well I have to tell you Jordan I’m really proud and um…quite amazed by you. (Jordan gives him a look) Never in a million years would I think you capable of exceeding to someone else’s wish especially when they were counter to your own.
Jordan: Hey, what can I say?
Nigel: I mean have you ever done that before?

Garret: So it was all for nothing.
Jordan: I wouldn’t say that.
(Jordan walks down the hall of the morgue)
Jordan (with a smile on her face): I wouldn’t say that at all.
