Description:

Mackenzie Phillips guest-stars as a waitress whose unusual reaction to the shooting death of her cab driver husband makes Jordan curious about the real story behind the cabbie's killing. While at the crime scene, Jordan also encounters Edward "Eddy" Winslow, the homicide detective involved at the end of her father's career as a cop. Meanwhile, Garret feels uncomfortable with the attention he receives from "the weird 'intake' girl," while Trey enlists "Bug" in a quest to identify "Mr. Stinky," an unclaimed corpse whose tenure at the morgue has become lengthy.

Garret: They closed an hour ago. We’ll have to wait till morning.
Jordan: No we don’t.
Garret: Jordan.
Jordan: Come on. I want to find out what my corpses license plate was doing on your
corpses ass.

Nigel: Alright gentlemen. How brilliant am I?
Bug: Brilliant by definition is unquantifiable Nigel. You’re either brilliant or you’re not.
Nigel: No Bug. The answer is very brilliant.

Lily: You um, you didn’t have to be anybodies bitch in there did you?
Garret: No, but thanks for asking.

Jordan: I need your help on this case.
Max: Give me one good reason why I should.
Jordan: Because I’m your daughter and I need your help on this case.

Max: It wasn’t right, me not telling you about Evelyn. You should know what’s going
on between us…Everything.
Jordan: Well, if you’re gonna tell me that she’s good in bed then I’m leaving right now.

Winslow: You figure out how they die. We find the killers. That’s how it works around here. (to Jordan)

Garret: (to Winslow) I thank you. My career thanks you. I’m gonna go home and take a shower. (to Jordan) Do us both a favor and stay away from me for the rest of the day. Okay?

Trey: How do you know all this Nigel?
Nigel: Insomnia and the History channel. They’re a lethal combination.
