Random Facts:

10-16-20 Draft: Title was
originally Reach Out and Touch Someone
- The quote "Hate the sin, love
the sinner" comes from Mahatma Gandhi (Indian ascetic & nationalist leader
(1869-1948)). A
page I found interesting--argues the fact that this isn't
preached in bible.
Goofs:
- In the email (that Nigel reads)
to Garret from Dr. Sanchez, Garret's name is misspelled.

Quotes:
Jordan:
Yeah I’m weighing the options.
Garret:
You’re down to one.
Jordan:
My life. My brain. My decision.
Bug:
Uh…um…uh…the probation kids are here. Assault, assault,
burglary, and assault.
Garret:
Kate’s turn.
Bug:
She’s not coming in.
Garret:
Then you’re up.
Bug:
I…I…I don’t do well with juvenile delinquents.
Jordan:
Woody.
Woody:
Thanks for speeding right over.
Jordan:
Sorry. I spaced on which entrance, then I had to drive
all the way around.
Woody:
You’re getting senile. You should write stuff down.
Garret:
Show some respect.
Charlie:
Man, who put you in charge?
Garret:
God.
(Garret shows the kids two men who killed each other)
Garret:
Does anyone see a lesson here?
Charlie:
Yeah, if you’re going to shot somebody make sure they
don’t have any damn brothers.
Nigel:
Aren’t you supposed to be shuffling little felons?
Bug:
Relieve of duty.
Garret:
After trace, comes autopsy.
Charlie:
Is that where they chop up the bodies?
Garret:
Is this supposed to be funny?
Charlie:
Yeah.
Garret:
Well I’m not laughing.
Charlie:
Yeah, you look like you ain’t laugh your entire life.
(Watching Garret)
Bug:
He seems a little cranky.
Nigel:
Irritability is one of the symptoms of meningioma.
Marissa: Go away.
Sister:
We're here for you. We don't approve, but you
know... Hate the sin, love the sinner.
Nigel:
That swab we took from the victims arm. It’s still
sealed. It hasn’t been processed.
Jordan:
But I matched it to Marissa Owens.
Nigel:
How many samples did you make from Marissa’s blood?
Jordan:
Four.
Nigel:
Two are gone. You tested her blood against herself.
How could you make a mistake like that? (Jordan going
fuzzy). They arrested her based on your findings. Were
you distracted?> Was it Dr. Macy? Is that it?
Jordan:
What?
Nigel:
Come on. Bug and I know about his meningenoma, okay.
Jordan:
What are you talking about? Look we have to rerun this
test.
Woody:
You tested her sample against her sample?
Jordan:
I don’t know why…
Woody:
I arrested Marissa Owens based on your screw up. I put
her through hell as if she wasn’t there already.
(Woody cuts Jordan off)
Woody:
Now she’s got a case for wrongful arrest and you
compromised this entire investigation.
Jordan:
I’m sorry.
Woody:
Sorry?
Jordan:
Can we stay focused on the baby?
Jordan:
Where are you going?
Woody:
I’m going to release Marissa. Apologize and hope she
doesn’t hit us with a big honking lawsuit.
Charlie:
Show me the way.
Garret:
That’s beyond my power.
(Jordan’s phone rings)
Jordan:
Woody.
Woody:
We found Carla Owens’s car in the bottom of a ravine
near Maine and Brookline.
Jordan:
Any sign of the baby.
Woody:
No, but there is a lot of blood inside. Just take Maine
all the way past the Y and look for cruisers.
Jordan:
Okay.
Woody:
You writing all this down? We don’t have time for you
to get lost.
Jordan:
Yeah. I’ll be there in a half hour. And Woody…
Woody:
Yeah?
Jordan:
Thanks for calling me.
Woody:
You weren’t my first choice. Nobody else was available.
Bug:
What are we supposed to do? If Jordan blew you off
about Dr. Macy then it’s meant to be a secret.
Nigel:
I don’t care.
Nigel:
We need to talk to you about Dr. Macy.
Jordan:
No. Not now Nige.
Nigel:
Yes now.
Bug:
Look is he going to have the surgery or is he going to
do the knife?
Jordan:
I don’t know where you guys got the idea that Garret’s
sick, but he’s fine.
Nigel:
Why do you keep covering for him?
Jordan:
(shouting) He’s fine. So just back off, okay?
Garret:
Life isn’t fair.
Charlie:
It sucks.
Garret:
Except for when it doesn’t.
Charlie:
When’s that?
Garret:
When you decide it doesn’t.
Woody:
Can you tell what it is?
Nigel:
Paper.
Woody:
I know that. I mean what is it?
Nigel:
Well there’s a couple of isolated letters…unless you
want to buy a vowel it’s too saturated with blood.
Charlie:
Are you going to sign my sheet or not?
(Garret signs sheet)
Charlie:
Still don’t like you.
Garret:
I know.
Nigel:
How are you feeling?
Garret:
Fine.
Bug:
You sure?
Garret:
Okay, one of you is going to tell me what’s going on.
Garret:
And how exactly did you see my emails.
(pause, then Nigel changes subject)
Nigel:
consult huh?
Garret:
Yes, freaks.
(Nigel tries to give Macy a hug.)
Garret:
No. No hugs.
Nigel:
No problem.
Garret:
And stay the hell out of my email.
Sister:
Abomination.
Woody:
Judge not least ye be judged.
Jordan:
condemn not least ye be condemned.
(Look
from Woody.)
Jordan:
What? I went to Sunday school. I must have missed the
day they said it was okay to kill and kidnap.
Jordan:
I better get back to the morgue.
Woody:
Um...hey. I’m sorry I didn’t let up on you before. I
was frustrated.
Jordan:
Hey I screwed up. I would have chewed your head off if
you’d done that to Marissa.
Woody:
You know you can talk to me right?
Jordan:
Yeah. Well…I’m good.
Garret:
I’m taking you out of the rotation.
Jordan:
What?
Garret:
No autopsy. No crime scene. No lab work.
Jordan:
Is this your way of blackmailing me into surgery?
Garret:
Listen. You won’t let me help you. I can’t do anything
about that. But I can’t cover for you anymore.
Jordan:
Garret.
Garret:
You have to deal with this.
