Guest Stars: Brooke Smith (Dr. Kate Switzer),  Craig Zimmerman (Lance Cooke),  Peter Birkenhead (Ted Hawthorne),  Charles Mesure (J.D. Pollack)

Random Facts:

- Robert Rovner (Executive Producer) had this to say about the deleted scene between Lily and Bug (scene can be seen on NBC.com)

"This scene between Bug and Lily was originally part of a sequence at the top of Act Three in which everyone in the morgue works to decipher what’s on Judge Gordon’s laptop. It came right before the argument between Lu and Woody in the break room. (In fact, Woody exits the top of this scene with his coffee to go to the break room where he is confronted by Lu). In the original cut of the episode, however, outside pressure from Lu was lacking at the top of Act Three, which necessitated our moving up the Woody/Lu confrontation. This Bug/Lily scene was an unfortunate casualty."

- Reason Behind Dr. Kate Switzer staying at the office, as explained by Robert Rovner:

At the end of this episode...it was a request from the Governor's Office to keep her on staff at the morgue indefinitely. Because the Governor hired her, Macy can't fire her.

Goofs:

- After Woody is put on administrative leave he is seen in the morgue wearing his gun and badge.

Quotes:

Garret: We all know Jordan didn’t kill anybody but we need to prove it quick before she gets herself in more trouble.
Nigel: Yeah, cause two murders and violating the terms of her bail isn’t bad enough.

Lu: It’s over. You’re all done protecting her (Jordan).

Lu: You wanna talk about this case? Fine, then tell me where she is.
Woody: I don’t know where she is.
Lu: Then we are done.

Dr. Switzer (to Nigel and Bug): Have you touched my body?

Nigel: Dr…didn’t catch the name.
Dr. Switzer: I didn’t throw it.

Garret: Leave Dr. Switzer alone, she has a job to do.
Dr. Switzer: Thank you; I appreciate the support Dr. Macy.
Garret: You don’t have my support; you’re here over my objections.
Dr. Switzer: Then I appreciate the candor.

Nigel (to Lily): Well…if it isn’t our very own runaway bride.

Woody: Man I picked a bad day to break up with Lu. Hey Lily, nice wedding.

(Outside Judge Gordon’s office)
Jordan: Ok, there’s his office…and I’m sorry.
Garret: For what?
(Jordan punches him in the stomach)
Jordan: Heart attack, go with it.

(Nigel, Woody, and Bug watching Dr. Switzer in autopsy)
Woody: Metallica?
Bug: Yeah, I would have pegged her for Celine Deon.

Nigel: That’s because the shooter wasn’t in the alley. Thanks to Cruella DeVille we can place him exactly…across the street.

Lu: What are you doing here Woody?
Woody: I’m staying with my friends.
Lu: Uh huh
Woody: Because we’re worried about Jordan. That’s what friends do when they’re worried.

Nigel: Oh No, No, No!!!
Woody: It’s deleting files, what did you do?
Nigel: It’s all the evidence from the alley; I just started to process it.
Jordan: Guys, what’s going on?
Woody: Make it stop, make it stop!!!

Dr. Switzer: Next time you’re stealing confidential information on a case you’ve been barred from and leaking it to your fugitive friend and awol boss use a firewall.
Woody: Dr….
Dr. Switzer: Or next time don’t do it.

Nigel: I don’t think I’ll do well in prison.
Woody: You’re just getting fired; I’m the one going to prison.

Woody (to Lu): You gonna throw us all in jail, or help us nail these bastards.

Garret: Dr. Switzer what are you doing here, the case is closed.
Dr. Switzer: Actually I’ve been asked to stay.
